A Unique Centre of Hifz-e-Quran and Qira’t-e-Saba

At a time when Qira’t-e-Saba, the seven methods of reciting the verses of the Holy Quran, as taught by Archangel Gabriel to Prophet Mohammed (Peace Be Upon Him), has become just a holy word among most of the followers of Islam, it is very much alive in India and some other countries. In India Madarsa Tajweedul Quran is among a few institutions responsible for keeping it alive by producing every year a number of experts. Founded by late Qari Mohammed Sulaiman and presently run by his second son Qari Hafiz Mahmoodul Hasan in coordination with his other brothers Qari Hafiz Mohammed Hasan, and Qari Hafiz Matloob Hasan, it is a 60-year old premier non-profit institution of teaching Hifz-e-Quran and Qira’t-e-Saba, dedicating itself to serving the needy and underprivileged students from the Muslim community.

Madarsa Tajweedul Quran is known the world over for its unique method of teaching. Its students can identify and explain all the related parts associated with even a small quotation from any part of the Quran. The recital of the Quran in accordance with Sunnah (tradition of the Prophet (PBUH)) is called Tajweed (Phonetics or the recitation of the Holy Quran).
